I have over 12 years of experience teaching academic writing, editing and research. I hold a PhD (University of Victoria, 2013) in politics and philosophy. I also hold a TEFL (teaching English) qualification.

I am passionate about lifelong learning, and about building professional and respectful relationships with all my clients and students.

I currently live in Victoria, BC (Canada), in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. However, I have clients from many places around the globe: California, New York, Australia, China, and Singapore, to name a few. I have a great deal of experience working with clients and students for whom English is not their first language.
